Where it all started

Allegra Accounting

Allegra Accounting began with a simple observation: too many SMEs were losing opportunities and sleep over compliance issues and unclear finances.

In 2017, founder Sunita van Zyl worked with a client who was about to lose a major tender due to a lapsed Tax Clearance. Within 48 hours, the client’s compliance was restored, the tender was secured, and, more importantly, new systems were implemented to prevent it from happening again.

From that experience, Allegra was born.

Today, Allegra supports SMEs across South Africa with services that go beyond basic accounting. We focus on three pillars:

Compliance – preventing penalties and missed opportunities.

Finance & Payroll – keeping the numbers clean and current

Financial Strategy & Operational Support – using those numbers to drive better decisions
